Contemporary (singular, avant-garde and modern), Passive (high energy efficiency / EECN) and Ecodesigned single-family house, which is implanted in the ground on a single floor, integrating into the environment and which development on the plot responds to the study of the guidelines for an optimal use of solar catchment, as well as criteria of functionality and distribution of spaces, that generate a harmonious relationship between interior and exterior. This house also has an outstanding avant-garde aspect thanks to the rotundity of its geometric shapes and the materiality of its finishes, with textures and variation effect before the solar incidence.

With regard to environmental aspects, the development of the project is carried out according to Ecodesign criteria and betting on a design based on the basic principles of passive architecture aimed at a building of “almost zero” energy consumption, through continuous thermal insulation of high performance in the envelope, elimination of thermal bridges, control of air infiltrations, Controlled ventilation with heat recovery, high performance carpentry, optimization of solar gains (indoor temperature) and energy modeling.

The envelope is materialized in a reduced number of materials, colors and textures in order to seek a high level of visual harmony and allow its peaceful integration into the environment. To solve the vertical envelope of the project, a façade system of cross-laminated wood panels covered on the outside and with an interior self-supporting cladding is used. For the insulation of the façade, a solution of insulation system ETICS is proposed for the exterior of high thickness (180 mm). In this case, the metallic contributes to the extraordinary appearance. The ETICS contributes to the sustainability of the project thanks to great durability and quality, reduced environmental impact in its manufacturing, packaging, use, waste, and energy consumption.
